My dream last night involved a man and it was a good dream and it was so good that I kept asking him "Is this real, boy? Is it true?" and he would tell me, with his hands on my legs "Yes, it's all real. I promise you you're not dreaming. I promise, I promise." and I would ask him if he was lying because I don't play with liars and he said "I'm not lying, this is all real!" and I would ask him how I got there, how I got there with him on top of that hill and he said "I carried you." so then I asked him if he was saying that because he's secretly a Sunday school teacher, because it sounded pretty biblical, am i right? and he said "No, it's true!" and his hands crawled farther up my skirt and then he grabbed my jaw and kissed me a little bit and I knew he wasn't lying, I knew it was true, and then I woke up and pulled the sheets off the couch I slept on last night and put on my swimsuit and went to the beach. It was 5am and I was disappointed in him for lying but the water was cold and the salt dried on my eyelids and it was okay. As long as the salt dries on my eyelids, everything is okay.
Everything will be okay.
